Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION: Participate in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Implement circle time and work time activities and routines Knowledge of the previous working in Montessori, Reggio Emilia or a play-based? curriculum. Prepare classroom materials, participate as needed in classroom organisation, classroom routines and maintenance. Communicate with other teachers about the students’ needs. Effective communication with families and co-teachers Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities. Work with a team of teachers to provide a high-quality preschool program Track student attendance, prepare assessment reports and student portfolios. Provide administrative support as needed. Maintain general classroom cleanliness Perform additional duties as specified by the Director
